Susan and I drove to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite on Thursday 6 September. We were joined by Bruce, Bob, and Dave and had dinner at the Tuolumne Lodge. Spent the night in the Tuolumne Campground.
Friday, we packed in to Lyell Canyon. I barely made the 5.6 miles but Susan did fine! We had honey-lime chicken for dinner.
Saturday we ate Bruce's pancakes for breakfast. Took a leisurely walk up canyon. Discovered Redell Falls, Vaughan Island, Jannerone Bog, and Mathews Pond. These compliment Lindsay campsite. Had Dave's chili for dinner.
Sunday, we bade Bob farewell so he could get an early start on his drive to San Diego. Ate Susan's quesadias for breakfast and walked out. Had dinner at the Iron Door in Groveland.
